We’re Moving is a young dynamic company that is driving change in the estate
agency industry. Our core concepts are excellent service, realistic fees, and
transparency for all parties involved.
In order to deliver our offering to the hundreds of thousands of home owners,
developers and landlords who sell and rent property every year, We’re Moving is
extending its brand, operating model and web-driven front and back office
systems to entrepreneurs who are interested in the property sector.
Our success depends on your success as franchisees and We’re Moving offers
dedicated training and support from the founding directors, IT support,
marketing plans and materials and HR assistance. In fact We’re Moving provides
support for every aspect of your new business leaving you free to concentrate
on winning business from traditional agents who have neither the technology or
cost base to compete.

Why are we franchising?
We’re Moving has three key reasons for expanding:

- Increase awareness of our brand and business model
- Greater economies of scale
Rapid expansion of our business: we believe that our business model is the first
of its kind in the UK property sector and due to its success so far it is
important to expand quickly to take advantage of this success
Increase awareness: although We’re Moving has appeared in the national press
numerous times over the last two years, high street offices help promote brand
awareness
Greater economies of scale: we operate a call centre to support your customers
outside your office hours and provide IT support as well as marketing plans and
materials. More offices means lower unit costs allowing everyone to benefit.

Franchise details
What is a franchise? A franchise is the legal right to carry out a business in
accordance with a particular operational method and under a specific brand.
This includes the right to use trade marks, logos, a business system, operating
procedures, IT and marketing techniques.
It can be seen as you working for yourself and running your own business.
However you go to market with the benefits of a proven business model and a
dedicated team supporting you with advice and guidance on how to operate
effectively.
How long does an agreement last? The standard term is five years. You have the
option to renew the term at the end of the first five years and then again at
the end of the second five years, subject to the terms and conditions in the
Franchise Agreement. No fee is payable on renewal.
What is the agreement? The Franchise Agreement is the contract between you and
us. It sets out both parties rights and obligations without ambiguity so that
both parties know what to expect.

Funding
Franchisees purchase postcodes as an area of operation and we charge an initial
fee based on the number of households and the average percentage of properties
sold over the last 5 years.
Applicants should have personal capital of around £25,000 to invest with
supplemental financing facilities which can be arranged through specialist
franchising departments of high street banks. We can help arrange this through
preferential arrangements.
A monthly management service fee is charged to cover call centre and IT support,
development of marketing materials and plans and ongoing development and
upgrades to the We’re Moving website and administration system.

Franchise areas
We’re Moving is currently operating in London and we are interested in hearing
from franchisees interested in opening a franchise in any location although
preference will be given initially to operations within the South East and
South West of England.
A typical franchise area for the We’re moving model would be for example, the BN
postcode which covers Brighton and the surrounding countryside as far as
Eastbourne or a city such as Bristol. Due to the operating model, areas as
large as this can be managed easily by one office, therefore increasing the
potential revenue stream.
